Hello and happy 2019! It’s great to be back… we never really went away, we’ve been right here plugging away at Derelict Zones. But it has been a while since we last brought out a build for play testing, and we’re working towards getting out there again ASAP.
This past year was a big year for both Will and myself, as we both became proud parents. So far the journey has been amazing, and I’m happy to report everyone is doing great, and we were both blessed with happy and healthy babies. Needless to say, progress slowed down a bit on the game while we took some time off from the project to be with our families.
We spent 2018 polishing Derelict Zones, refining gameplay and tweaking the overall sequencing and pacing of the game. We’re really excited with how things are shaping up, and looking forward to finally releasing the game in 2019. We’re currently eyeing towards a summer release, and will share more details as we get closer.
In the meantime, we’re happy to announce that we’ll be showing the game publicly again. We’re anticipating to show the game at the upcoming Winter Play event in NYC, to be held Saturday, February 2 at the Microsoft building near Times Square. Stay tuned for more details.
